This Hello Kitty sweets table, simply put …. is timeless. Whether you’re 9 or 25, it’s the character that we all know and love. We teamed up with A Stunning Affair to develop a very creative sweets table with all the bells and whistles. Sky Events created an adorable pink bucket floral arrangement.

We chose treats that would be sure to delight…chocolate covered strawberries, mini cups of strawberry milk with a mini chocolate chip cookie as well as strawberry push-pops.

To tie it all together, Kiss & Punch made adorable tent cards to label the different pastries. To capture it all was Krista Mason Photography . She really took a great deal of time to focus on every little detail. Thanks to Designer Specialty Linens, we were able to complete the detail with a stunning pink linen.

Every chance we get to have fun…we’re on it. And we did it here. This table was just a dream come true. Donuts, gum ball tree, lollipops, cupcakes, mason jars with candies. It goes on and on.

We teamed up with A Stunning Affair to conceptualize this fun sweets table. Krista Mason Photography captured what we were hoping to express. Kiss and Punch made the wonderful name tags that help describe what each item is. And what is usually the most over looked but yet one of the most important is the linen. Designer Specialty Linens provided this special shade of green to tie the table together.

ENTER A SWEET DESIGN’s First Annual Junior Cake Decorator Competition

To help you start a great career in baking or becoming a master chef, A SWEET DESIGN is holding a cake decorating contest with a championship prize of a CULINARY SCHOLARSHIP WORTH $500, a winner’s trophy and other prizes.

OPEN to boys or girls AGES 13-17 with basic cake decorating skills.

TO REGISTER – SUBMIT a 250-words or LESS ESSAY on WHY you want to have a culinary career and where you see yourself in ten years.

ALL ESSAY SUBMISSIONS/REGISTRATIONS MUST BE EMAILED TO cake@asweetdesign.info

ON or BEFORE 9:59AM on August 25, 2011 and must include complete CONTESTANT INFORMATION including NAME, AGE, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER and EMAIL.

A Sweet Engagement

We were recently asked to do a 3d scrabble cake for a client of ours. This was no ordinary cake, as it was for an engagement! He even had us write out the word, “Will you marry me” using scrabble shaped tiles. I really wish I could have been a ladybug on the wall to see his fiance’s reaction.
