In June we had the opportunity to be a part of another beautiful wedding. The stunning Private Estate created the perfect back drop for this very intimate wedding. One of the more charming pieces would be the boudoir used as the cake table along with many other vintage accent pieces
The wedding cake is iced in whipped vanilla butter cream which holds up well all year round. We use the description “spackle” when referring to the icing style on this cake. It pairs perfectly with the DIY cake topper. Corinne is a very clever bride who made her own cake toppers. Here you’ll see that she made the bride and groom from wood pieces and then strung a banner above them with cut out flags to include the famous day.
Wedding cake flavors included a wheat free chocolate with strawberry butter cream as the top tier and the 2 tiers below where traditional chocolate cake with the same strawberry butter cream .
